Ingredients:

  • 8 slices of bacon, chopped

  • 1 pound of spaghetti

  • 1 can 28 ounces crushed tomatoes

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions:

In a big skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy


With about 2 tablespoons of bacon grease remaining in the pan, remove the bacon from the skillet and set it aside

Korean Style Inari Roll Yubu Kimbap

Inari Roll in the Korean Style The Korean snack Yubu Kimbap tastes great and looks great too. There are a lot of different kinds of fresh and pickled vegetables, perilla leaves, and crispy yubu inside these inari pockets that are filled with sushi rice.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup sushi rice

  • 10 sheets inari pockets

  • 10 strips of yubu fried tofu

  • 1 carrot, julienned

  • 1 cucumber, julienned

  • 10 pickled radish strips

  • 10 slices of pickled yellow radish

  • 10 perilla leaves

  • Soy sauce

  • Sesame oil

  • Sesame seeds

  • Salt

  • Sugar

Instructions:

Rinse the sushi rice thoroughly and cook according to package instructions


Once cooked, season with a mixture of 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of sugar, and 1 teaspoon of salt


Gently open the inari pockets and stuff them with a small portion of sushi rice while they are still warm


Press gently to shape the rice inside


In a pan, heat some sesame oil and lightly stir-fry the yubu strips until they become slightly crispy


Place one perilla leaf on top of each stuffed inari pocket


Add a strip of yubu, some julienned carrot, cucumber, pickled radish, and a slice of pickled yellow radish on top of the perilla leaf inside each pocket


Drizzle a little soy sauce and sprinkle sesame seeds over the ingredients inside the pockets


Carefully fold the inari pocket over the ingredients to create a roll, and secure with a toothpick if needed


Repeat the process for all the inari pockets


Serve your Korean Style Inari Roll Yubu Kimbap as a delicious and colorful appetizer or side dish

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1 cup dried cranberries

  • 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 190C 375F


Put butter, white sugar, and brown sugar in a large bowl and mix them together until they are light and fluffy


Slowly add the eggs, making sure to mix well after each one


Add vanilla and stir


Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a different bowl using a whisk


Slowly add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix just until everything is combined


Add the chopped macadamia nuts, white chocolate chips, and dried cranberries


Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets that have not been greased


Place in the oven and bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges turn golden brown


Let cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheets before moving them to wire racks to cool all the way

Take it out of the oven and let it cool down a bit before you serve it


Cut the tart into squares or wedges, and serve it hot

White Bean Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb dried white beans

  • 1 onion, chopped

  • 2 carrots, diced

  • 2 celery stalks, chopped

Baked Spicy Potato Wedges

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, washed and cut into wedges

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

Set the oven to 425F 220C and heat it up


Toss the potato wedges with olive oil in a large bowl until they are well covered


Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to a small bowl and mix them together


Add the spice mix to the potato wedges and toss them around so that they are all covered


Place the seasoned potato wedges on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper so that they do not touch


After the oven is hot, bake the food for 25 to 30 minutes, flipping it over halfway through, until it is golden brown and crispy


Serve hot with the sauce of your choice

Top each fish with a slice of lemon and a sprig of fresh thyme


Fold the parchment paper over the fish and vegetables, and crimp the edges tightly to seal


Place the parchment packets on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the vegetables are tender


Carefully open the parchment packets watch out for steam and serve the fish and vegetables directly from the packets
